UFC Fight Night 88: Almeida vs Garbrandt is less than a week away! The event goes down next Sunday night from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. We’ve had a decent year so far with an extremely good January, a losing month of February, another profit in March and a loss in April. So far we’ve lost a bit in May, but Fight Night 88 will be our chance to make that back. We’ll detail a 2 unit parlay bet that we’re bring you for free here. In addition to this bet, we’ve already released our first 4 unit play and we have plans to release a total of 18 units of bets for the card. Our full betting tips will be available for just $9.95 exclusively at CapperTek.

The co-main event at UFC Fight Night 88 features former bantamweight champion Renan Barao taking on long time vet Jeremy Stephens. The bout will be Barao’s first at featherweight. Barao is 33-3 overall and 8-2 in the UFC with his only losses both coming to bantamweight champ TJ Dillashaw. For having 36 career fights, Barao is still relatively young at 29 years old. Jeremy Stephens is also only 29 years old even though he has been fighting in the UFC since 2007. He has compiled an overall record of 24-12 and a .500 UFC record which stands at 11-11. We like the favourite, Barao in this match-up. At 1.61 (-165) we think he pretty clearly has a bunch of value in this spot and he is heavily favoured by our model. Barao was always one of the fastest bantamweights and as we’ve seen time and time again in the 155 and under weight classes, speed kills. He should be able to use that speed to dart in and get back out before Stephens can land anything significant. The main risk here is Stephens crazy power. It could just take one brief mistake by Barao for Stephens to land a bomb that turns the fight around. At the current odds though, we’re happy to accept the small chance of that happening. Mark Barao down as the first leg of our two team free parlay.

The second leg of our two team parlay will be Abel Trujillo. Trujillo faces the debuting Jordan Rinaldi in a lightweight bout that will serve as the co-main event of the televised prelims. The 32 year old Trujillo has an overall record of 14-6 and a UFC record of 5-2. Both records come with an asterisk though as he had a submission loss to Gleison Tibau overturned after Tibau failed a drug test under the UFC’s new anti-doping policy. Fighting a UFC veteran like Trujillo will be a tall task for Rinaldi. He hasn’t been fighting total cans on the regional scene, but he does have several recent wins against guys who are below .500 or barely above. The two biggest names on his resume are current UFC fighters James Moontasri and Brian Ortega. He suffered losses to both including a devastating KO loss to Moontasri. It’s always a bit scary betting Abel Trujillo because he does tend to get wild at times, but we think it’s unlikely that Rinaldi will be able to capitalize. Our expectation is Trujillo will land a devastating strike that stuns Rinaldi which he will follow up with either a submission or a TKO. Add Trujillo as the second leg of the parlay and we put 2 units at 2.17 (+117) on it at Bookmaker.eu.
